According to the 2023 Crime Survey for England & Wales, 1 in 17 adults in England & Wales were victims of fraud. Anybody can be at risk of fraud, no matter your background, age or race. Fraudsters use manipulative tactics to exploit us and lower our defences, so nobody is immune to fraudulent behaviour.
